Di is a visionary business leader and passionate community advocate who was born and raised in Mount Gambier. With a commitment to inclusiveness, collaborations and transparency, she champions initiatives fostering unity and understanding. Di’s dedication to bridging divides and empowering voices drives positive change, enriching the fabric of Mount Gambier’s vibrant community. Di has recently stepped down as Chairman of two local charities, Four Reasons Why Incorporated & Spare Ya Change 4 Kids Incorporated after volunteering for over 5 years in both roles. A previous Board member for Stand Like Stone Foundation, Pangula Mannamurna Aboriginal Corporation and Women in Business Regional Development.

Heather Kellas
Treasurer & Secretary
Heather came to Mount Gambier 20 years ago with her husband John as he was the CEO of the Green Triangle Regional Plantation Committee. Prior to the move to this region, she worked at Mars Confectionery in Ballarat for 15 years as the Facilitator of raw materials and packaging within the manufacturing facility. Heather was a member of the Multicultural Committee for festivals held at Vansittart Park and was a Founding Member of the Reels Film Society. Other volunteer roles included being the Coordinator at Meals on Wheels before she headed to Hanoi Vietnam with Australian Volunteer International. Heather is now retired, and she enjoys gardening, knitting and activities with her grandchildren. Heather has been involved with the Association since Incorporation and has stepped into this role on an interim basis.

Jake was born and raised in Mount Gambier. He is an entrepreneur deeply committed to uplifting his community so he decided to join MGDRRA. As the manager of a thriving local family owned business he channels his passion into initiatives that encourages local growth and well being. Jake’s dedication to making a positive impact fuels his relentless pursuit of innovative and inclusive opportunities. When not at work or advocating for his community he loves to travel and hang out with his friends
